ICT, a New Paradigm of Education of the New Normal

    

     

     The infrastructure and components that enable modern computing are known as ICT, or information and communication technology (or technologies). The term is widely understood to refer to all devices, networking components, applications, and systems that work together to allow people and organizations to interact digitally.  ICT plays a significant role in the field of education. It helps teachers to adapt the tools and provide and disseminate effective knowledge to the students. It implemented the principle of life – long learning. ICT pervades all aspects of life, enabling people to interact, network, seek assistance, gain access to information, and learn in new, better, and faster ways. Aside from its ubiquitous presence, information and communication technology has enormous economic significance. ICT enables us students to comprehend how and why characters in these digital words move, act, and level up in the manner that they do. Understanding refers to the ability to learn quickly and efficiently.

      And I've seen technology evolve from a stand-alone subject to a central component of the school curriculum. As schools adapt to an increasing number of digitally native students, technology is quickly be coming an integral part of us children's learning from a young age. And today, teachers have a plethora of devices, tools, and apps at their disposal to help us students understand various subjects. The end of the first quarter is approaching quickly, and it's amazing how quickly time flies. This quarter was completed in the sense that it was brought about by knowledge and skills. I've learned a lot from this online distance learning, and I need to embrace it to the extent that it keeps me on track. I developed more advanced skills and knowledge. I will deepen my knowledge of technology and how it works. I learn practical skills like coding/ programming and gain a theoretical understanding of topics like computer and web development. It improves the effectiveness of education. It aids literacy movements . It enhances scope of education by facilitating mobile learning ad inclusive education. It facilitates research and scholarly communication.

      The major challenges encountered while using ICT included an unstable internet connection, a lack of training, a lack of school support, and a lack of time. Appropriate training on the use of ICT in teaching should be provided to ensure a more successful implementation of ICT in education. Recognize and identify the critical components of ICT capability. When evaluating ICT capability, make holistic judgments based on broad criteria. Encourage learning progression in the development of concepts, knowledge, skills, and confidence applied to tasks, as well as in the range and type of problem addressed.   

  

    Moving forward, I intend to put the knowledge I gained this quarter to good use in the coming quarters. It improves educational quality in several ways, including increasing learner motivation and engagement, facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and improving teacher training. ICT are also transformational tools that, when used correctly, can promote a shift to a learner-centered environment. It also pervades all aspects of life, offering newer, better, and faster ways for people to interact, network, and seek assistance. Gaining access to information and communication technology has enormous economic implications.

“ TECHNOLOGY WILL NEVER REPLACE GREAT TEACHERS, BUT TECHNOLOGY IN THE HANDS OF GREAT TEACHERS IS TRANSFORMATIONAL”.
