With
cases of COVID-19 variant Omicron on the rise this year, people should spend
New Year's Eve at home with family and friends. New Year is a time when we bid
adieu to the present year and welcome new beginnings with open arms. It
provides us with another opportunity to begin a fresh, and its arrival is
marked with pomp and fervor. We are planning to spend New Year's Eve at home
with family and friends this year, as cases of COVID-19 variant Omicron are on
the rise.
The
New Year is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm all over the world. The
end of the year's 31st December at 12 o'clock midnight and the beginning of the
next year's 1st January mark the beginning of a New Year. The New Year is
celebrated with great excitement and joy all over the world. This is a
significant day for us who use it to usher in the new year in our own unique
way. We buy a wide range of clothing and items from the market. Food and
customs abound at New Year's Day celebrations. To commemorate the occasion,
music and dance are used. This
day excites as children because we get to eat a variety of foods and go on a fun
trip with our family or friends. According to calendars, different communities
celebrate the new year on different days. The new year is also celebrated on
January 1st, but according to Hindu scriptures, the new year falls between
March and April. The new year is celebrated in January according to the English
calendar.
Many Filipinos regard New Year's Day as a significant holiday in the country. In the Gregorian calendar, which is used in many countries, including the Philippines, this marks the beginning of a new year. New Year's Day is a public holiday. The general public has the day off, and schools and most businesses are closed. It will fall on a Saturday in 2022, and some businesses may choose to keep Saturday hours. Many Filipino people unite on New Year’s Eve, which is on December 31, to celebrate a midnight meal known as the Media Noche. It is also customary to stay awake until the New Year arrives. Filipinos also light fireworks and make a lot of noise on New Year's Day to ward off evil spirits. This belief originated from the Chinese. The elderly encourage their children to jump at the stroke of midnight in order for them to grow tall. Many people display 12 circular fruits and wear polka-dot clothing to represent money. It is also popular practice to open all the doors and windows at the stroke of midnight to let in the good luck. Many Filipino families also read the Christian bible and attend midnight church services. Many Filipinos celebrate New Year's Day by combining religion and superstition.
The
New Year's Day/New Year's Eve celebrations begin on December 31 and last until
January 1. The celebration of New Year's Day in the Philippines is brief but
distinctive. This is also the time of the year when many Filipino families get
together and strengthen their family ties. New Year’s Day in the Philippines is
a joyful holiday that is characterized with the intermarriage of religion and
paganism which are the attributes of a once Hispanic Philippine Society.
Filipinos represent New Year's
Day with visions of how the start of the New Year opens up opportunities for a
prosperous life. This is why the Filipino dining table, which is the focal
point of this holiday, is piled high with food in round or circular shapes to
represent money. Fireworks also represent driving away bad luck on New Year's
Day.
The
new year is quickly approaching, and parties are springing up all over the
place. As the year 2021 comes to a close, people are preparing to make new
promises and begin new endeavours in 2022. It is time to make New Year's
resolutions that will assist people in achieving their goals. Every year, the
beginning of the year is full of optimism, good energy, and good vibes. People
celebrate this day by going out with their friends, family and relatives. Many
celebrations go into making this a truly memorable time and it is worth
remembering!
New
Year – Not only is it a time to celebrate, but it is also a time to start
fresh. At the same time, keeping in mind that the changes we march towards
should be good and dignified. We are human beings with both good and bad
qualities. When a child is born into the world, his or her heart is pure, and
it absorbs everything it sees as it grows. When we reach adulthood, it is time
to mold ourselves into good people. This can be accomplished by removing
negative thoughts and habits from our minds and cultivating new, positive
habits and disciplines as a way of life. A well-defined resolution can bring
about such a change. Every year, we can prepare our minds to accept good things
that are difficult to accept and to let go of bad things that are difficult to
let go of. Setting New Year Resolutions is a good habit to develop in order to
renew ourselves each year.
“
I LIKE THE DREAMS OF THE FUTURE BETTER THAN THE HISTORY OF THE PAST”
Resolutions
are often made to do away with bad and useless activities. All activities that
let go time unproductive and yield into nothing are erased and replaced into
new activities that never go in vain and bring productive changes. It’s very
hard to avoid rampant activities that destroy our lives.
A New Year Resolution is an idea that
better shapes and reflects my personality. Every year, as a student, I should
refine my thoughts, cultivate good habits, and improve my personality. The
following are a few resolutions that would be great to include on a New Year's
Resolution I am a student, and time is the most valuable commodity to me. I'm
going to die tomorrow if I don't kill time now. The following is a list of my
New Year's resolutions.
1)
I'll go to bed earlier and get up earlier.
2)
Organize yourself.
3)
Pick up a new skill.
4)
Exercise on a regular basis
5)
Put an end to procrastination.
6)
Make an effort to be more assertive.
7)
Consume nutritious foods
Take
pleasure in every moment of your life.
9)
Assist others, particularly those in need.
10)
Reducing time spent on non-productive activities.
• Getting Myself into Good Grades: By
grade, I'm referring to improving my academic and discipline grades.
• Getting Rid of Procrastination in my
Life: Procrastination is one of the most difficult to break but most harmful
habits. I need to break the habit of putting off tasks until the last possible
moment. I can prove to be the best in everything if I start completing all of
my tasks on time.
• How to Learn a New Language: Learning
as many languages as possible is always a good idea. As a result, learning a
new and foreign language can be a fun New Year's Resolution.
• Making Eco-Friendly Decisions: I
believe it is past time for us to go green. The negative effects on the
environment, such as melting glaciers, global warming, and worst-case
disasters, can all be mitigated to some extent by being environmentally
friendly.
• Being Kind to Everyone: Above all, the
best New Year Resolution is to try to be kind to everyone, regardless of how
others treat us. There is no such thing as a good habit as Loving Our
Neighbours.
The above are just a few resolutions that apply to me as a person.
However, I must sit and reflect on myself in order to formulate a New Year
Resolution that will help me become a better person throughout the year. To
achieve my above-mentioned resolutions and goals, I will make numerous changes
in my daily routine. Excessive use of social media, particularly Facebook,
Whatsapp, and Twitter, is one of the leading causes of procrastination. Aside
from that, I'm going to try to limit how much time I spend in front of the
television. Instead of watching too much television, I'm going to try to find a
sport that I enjoy and play it to stay fit and smart. A good student can be
identified by his or her behaviour and character. Because respecting and
obeying elders is considered good manners, I will be respectful to my parents,
teachers, and elders.
Our personality is formed by our good manners. These modifications will improve my personality. My New Year's resolutions will not only help me to break bad habits and adopt good ones, but they will also brighten my future and help me succeed at every turn.
“
LIFE’S NOT ABOUT EXPECTING, HOPING AND WISHING, IT’S ABOUT DOING, BEING AND
BECOMING”
So
in short, my New Year Resolution could be any goal which I want to achieve in a
particular year. To motivate for that.....Also, New Year Resolution is to make
my list of goals I want to achieve in this year. Everyone's life is made more
exciting by the arrival of the New Year. However,
it is truly unique for me as a student. I am the ones who will be in charge of
the future. When presented to me in an engaging manner, New Year's Resolutions
will be extremely meaningful to me as a student. As a student, I frequently make New Year's resolutions.
In essence, a New Year resolution is made when one wishes to correct mistakes
made in the previous year or to do something in a more organized manner. I've
set specific goals for myself in terms of my studies and my future. A good
student always learns from his or her mistakes in the current or previous year,
and on the eve of the New Year, he or she vows to oneself to correct all
mistakes made in the past year, despite the ocean of other activities. I am a student who frequently
procrastinates studies, wastes time, and engages in frivolous activities that
have a negative impact on their studies.
“
IT TAKES COURAGE TO GROW UP AND BECOME YOU REALLY ARE”
Every year, I make it a point to set a goal for myself and to work hard every waking moment to achieve that goal. I need to dream in order to do something useful, because dreaming and achieving goals are synonymous with success. I am also a student, and as a student, I have made resolutions in the past, but I, like everyone else, have broken them. But this time, I'm going to keep my resolutions and make a conscious effort to change. I've written down a few goals that I'd like to achieve this year and plan to stick to them. The most crucial aspect is to be well-organized. I have a bad habit of not organizing my work and thus end up with unfinished homework and projects. So this year, I want to be more systematic and organized so that I can finish my work on time and do not put off the tasks that have been assigned to me. Second, I want to improve my reading skills.
“
THE MAGIC IN NEW BEGINNINGS IS TRULY THE MOST POWERFUL OF THEM ALL”
New
Year is a significant event for every country and individual. The New Year
motivates us to start new projects and gives us the energy to live our lives
with renewed zeal and joy. I learn from my mistakes in the previous year and
make a new resolution or oath to complete the work with full energy, which
leads to my success, in the New Year. It's like a festival that infuses us with
new energy, increasing the significance of the New Year in our lives.
It is a historic day that should commemorate an important day in our lives; now is the time to learn from the mistakes of the previous year and make new resolutions. It gives our lives new dimensions. Every year, we should greet the New Year with renewed vigor and enthusiasm in order to improve our lives.
“
ALTHOUGH NO ONE CAN GO BACK AND MAKE A BAND NEW START, ANYONE CAN START FROM
NOW AND MAKE A BRAND NEW ENDING”
